Buying Old Coins, Banknotes and Medals
Expert purchasing of old currency and exceptional numismatic items
At Arany Ezüst Centrum, we have been buying old coins, banknotes, commemorative medals and decorations since 1990.
The value of a coin or banknote is not determined solely by its face value or precious metal content. Age, rarity, condition, historical significance and collector demand can all have a major influence on its value.

We buy a wide range of numismatic items
Precious metal value is not the only factor
The value of an old gold or silver coin can often significantly exceed the value of the precious metal it contains.
During our examination, we consider several factors:
For this reason, old coins and numismatic items are not valued simply by weight.
Complete collections and estates
We also purchase complete or partial numismatic collections, inherited coin collections and estates.
For larger collections, we examine individual pieces separately so that valuable rarities are not overlooked in a simple material-value assessment.
Expertise and discreet service
More than 35 years of professional experience and our European partner network help us identify suitable market opportunities for exceptional numismatic pieces.
